Welcome to the Rheumatology Events community!
Our commitment is to provide first-class clinical education. Since 2017, we have been at the forefront of delivering contemporary knowledge and clinical skills training. Our focus has been on fostering multi-disciplinary and multi-specialty care, while also serving as a platform for networking and collaborative research. Our ultimate goal is to enhance the standards of patient care.
Initially concentrating on axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA), we’ve expanded our scope based on delegate feedback. Our coverage now includes rheumatoid arthritis (RA), dermatology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, and musculoskeletal imaging. With over 50 unique events delivered to date, we are proud to have a community of over 1000 UK-based professional members.
In 2024, our curriculum will focus on Spondyloarthritis (SpA), RA, Dermatology, and Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases (IMIDs). This year, we’re excited to introduce two new initiatives: a Dermatology Academy in May and IMID in July 2024. All events in 2024 are exclusively in person, free to attend and approved for continuous professional development (CPD). Most importantly, the content of these meetings is developed and independently directed by us, ensuring a non-promotional nature.
For registration details and relevant agendas, please visit the Events page.
Our event curriculum covers disease epidemiology, clinical presentation and classification, examination, investigation, non-pharmacological and pharmacological management, case-based discussions, patient support, and service delivery. These aspects are presented through key-note presentations, workshops, and clinical skills demonstrations, followed by a Q&A session.
We serve as a hub for multi-disciplinary networking, welcoming registrations from a diverse range of healthcare professionals interested in rheumatology, including rheumatologists, general practitioners, radiologists, dermatologists, gastroenterologists, ophthalmologists, clinical and research nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, orthotists, dieticians, psychologists, chiropractors, osteopaths, podiatrists, surgeons, and more.
Our events are made possible through unrestricted educational grants from industry sponsors and are delivered independently in collaboration with patient charities, Doctors.net.uk, and our global events management partner, In2Global.
We are proud to announce that our designated charity is East Anglian Children’s Hospices. If you’d like to contribute, you can make a donation in lieu of a registration fee via the link on our homepage.
To join us for the events of your choice, please register using the ‘Events’ tab above. Once registered, you’ll be added to our database and notified when new events are launched.
